The Medical Corp.

A group of medic robot characters for my book series.

As with all my characters, these ones are silly as well. This is Brigadier Boffin and is the main medical officer.

This is Intern Aurantiaco and Intern Caeruleum. These models are very simple and only have a few poses. The hands change out for different poses. They all have a frame on their chest to carry tools.

The bodies are simple wood shapes. The aprons cover the body up and we only see the interns from the front so I could keep them simple. Boffin has a wrap around apron so I can see his back.

This is Intern Album and Intern Green. The apron for Boffin was cut out of a sheet of styrene, wrapped around a pipe then heated in hot water. When cool, it hold the new shape and just clipped around the body.

This is Intern Red. All the heads were individually made. The Intern’s aprons were a thin plasticine sculpt to give a rippled plastic look. They were cast out in urethane, heated and formed around the bodies.
